    Good food? Industrial vibes? Cozy study nooks? You can find all of these and more at Big Mug Coffee Roasters. I walked in on a drizzly morning from under grey skies--grey like the concrete walls of the café. And while Mother Nature was chilly and cold, Big Mug Coffee Roasters was aglow and inviting. Here was a spot for people to go on dates, study, and chill with friends. I got a pandan latte and a slice of chocolate marble tea bread. My drink and food were ready in a few minutes, and I found a corner in the café to sit and enjoy my meal. I found myself appreciating the contrast between industrial lighting and concrete walls and the wooden tables and cozy chairs. The décor really sold the café as a homey space blending form and function. The pandan latte had sweet, floral notes to it, and the pandan foam was rich and luscious (a nice treat on a cold day). The tea bread was fluffy, and I liked how the dark chocolate part of the loaf added a bold depth to the tea bread. Overall, I liked Big Mug Coffee Roasters with all that this down-to-earth café offers. Unfortunately, it looks like they recently closed--I'll have to check out one of their sister cafés in the area for these good eats again.

    Stopped by this place after my Saturday morning run and I can't believe I haven't been here before. It looks small when you first walk in but there's actually ample seating and it's really cutely decorated with an IG worth neon sign on one wall. I ordered the Lavendula which is their lavender and brown sugar latte. The barista recommended it hot so I ordered it hot with almond milk. When I tell you this lavender latte was among the best I've ever had! It wasn't overly sweet and the perfect amount of lavender. They do have pasteries and a small food menu so I'll be back to try some food and they also have a pandan latte on the menu so I definitely have to be back for that!

    Love this Big mug location. I always have a friend date here and we catch up over coffee and honey toast... our favorite! The honey toast is the perfect breakfast dessert goodie. Service is friendly. They have different seating arrangements ranging from high bar stools, to tables, to a cozy nook with pillows. Parking is on the side with a little parking garage.
